Subject: Pre-Poll Survey should be banned
Sir,
Now a days, Media Group publishes and broadcasts the Exit Poll after poll. In my knowledge, before few years, it was published and broadcasted before the poll. The EC banned the exit poll to publish and broadcast before the poll then it started to publish and broadcast after the vote. It is appropriate, therefore I do not have any complaints on this form of exit polls.
My complaint is about the pre-poll survey. The former is similar to the exit polls which you banned. I think it affects people's mind before polling. The results of the Loksabha elections and to look at the recent assembly elections in Delhi, you will have realized the truth in my complaint.
The last pre-poll survey were in favor of BJP. The results came back and vote in favor of the party and the seats were growing faster than anticipated. That happened in the recent assembly elections in Delhi also and AAM AADMI PARTY got benefited from pre-poll survey.
So you are kindly requested to ban on every kind of pre-poll survey after your notification of elections.
